Creek Nights – Church Event
We were lucky enough to be able to make two very large balloon garlands to go over the doors (over 20′ in length and extra width) and a large balloon arch with marquee letters to help jazz up “Creek Nights” at Gold Creek Church in Woodinville, Washington. This is a super fun and free family event held by the church.
When using black balloons, especially outside, one thing to keep in mind is they will oxidize, which means they will get a gray tone to them over time. One way to combat this is to use a product called Mega Shine. It is an extra step but in my humble opinion it is totally worth it! You can see in the picture on the far left I have used Mega Shine on one garland and not the other in order to show what oxidation looks like. The other pictures all of the garland has been sprayed.
At the end of the night, we were able to move the garlands to the inside doors and the church was able to keep them up through the weekend in order to use them at their services, and they were even able to use the balloon arch by transporting it in a box truck at an additional outdoor event later in the week. Quality balloons and construction will last a long time! We had a great time at the event and love doing events for large groups!
